Sapaveco Ranches

Hi. We are the Benson's. Sapaveco Ranches has two locations near the Edward's Plateau in Rocksprings, TX and our other location is in the hill country of Central Texas near Florence. The Florence ranch is our main operating location. We moved from big city life in Austin to small town life in 2006. We started our venture by buying five llamas and instantly fell in love with them. They are such precious, curious animals. Over the last year our herd has grown. We have a mixture of light, medium, and heavy wooled animals from Peruvian, Chilean, and North American bloodlines. We offer silky and traditional fiber.

The Florence operation is run mainly run by Robin and Courtnee with help from Mike and Connor. While living in Austin for twenty years Robin ran her own pet sitting business taking care of any kind of animal from ferrets to cattle. We have always had a knack for animals and have many around us at all times.
