When looking for a new show girl or boy, future herdsire, a great producing female, or are just getting started look no further.  At Sapaveco Ranches we strive for stretchy llamas with substance and silky or suri fiber.  Our llamas are placing in the top of their classes both at the local and national level.  Next time you’re at a show look for our stalls.  Good, sound dispositions are important to us as well.  Each cria is handled from birth in hope of creating a pleasing disposition and an animal that is easy to show, fun to be around, and a joy to handle.

We are currently awaiting more offspring of our champion herdsire,  MSF The Patriot, and are very excited about what he will do for the future of our herd.  His next cria crop will begin arriving in the fall of 2009.  Our two junior herdsires, SHAG Power Petrone and Champagner, are at the top of their game in the show ring and we can’t wait until they are of breeding age.

Our females are also very important in our herd.  They have  been selected for their conformation, dispositions, substance, and fiber.  Many of them are show champions too!

All of our llamas are registered with the International Llama Registry and we are in the process of DNA’ing our entire herd.

Our llamas are currently enjoying a nice, cool summer in Colorado.  We have several exciting crias due this summer so check back to see them!
